The Book Club

They say a reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, but a man who never reads lives only one. We meet once a month to discuss compelling literary works, both fiction and non-fiction. We’re always open to suggestion for what our book of the month will be.

The Paintball Club

The Paintball Club is where students can be a part of an exhilarating recreational activity. Members are encouraged to get together to play at League Night on Thursdays at Stinger’s Indoor Paintball. This is a great way to try something new, get some exercise, and meet new people. Our goal is to provide students with a network to organize and participate in recreational paintball and laser tag, as well as to encourage sportsmanship and team building.

Musicians Club

The purpose of this club is to provide students who may be interested in music, or play an instrument, to have a platform to network, collaborate, and stay informed as to what’s going on in Brockville’s music scene. Inspired by Carleton University’s largest and most active club, The SLC Music Club is a platform for students who have an interest in music, or play an instrument, to connect, collaborate, and stay informed about in the events going on in the Brockville music scene. Monthly newsletters will be sent out about all the open mics, open jams, music classifieds, and events going on in the area, and students will be encouraged to meet up with other members to make music together.
